The 30-acre Fallen Jerusalem features striking coastal vegetation and the enormous giant-tossed boulders similar to those lining the beach at The Baths.

The island is a declared national park due to its importance as bird sanctuary for the endangered red-billed tropic bird.

Other nesting birds at Fallen Jerusalem includes seabirds like brown boobies, laughing gulls, noddies and brown pelicans, along with sandwich, royal and bridled terns.

North Lee Bay beach is considered the island's best beach. The northwest shore offers underwater tunnels and caves that are home to great schools of glassy sweepers.

Sailors should not consider anchoring overnight since there is no safe, overnight anchorage.
